Access Elevator Does Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) Projects!

Access Elevator, Inc. has been a trusted partner in VA Specially Adapted Housing Grant projects for veterans since 1990.

Access Elevator, Inc. works directly with veteran grant recipients and the VA to assess each veteran’s needs and preferences, determining the best course of action for their project. We offer a wide range of modifications, including residential elevator installations, complete home additions, ramps, bathroom remodels, roll-in showers, kitchen renovations, new flooring, windows and doors, generator installations, concrete work, and more. At Access, we make just about anything possible! We have the expertise to install all VA-required modifications, along with additional upgrades to help bring our veterans’ visions to life.

Our dedicated VA Grant Specialist will guide you through the SAH process, ensuring a smooth experience. Additionally, our team will be available throughout the project to answer questions and provide updates on its progress. Access Elevator, Inc. is a fully licensed General Contractor and a licensed Elevator Contractor—a rare distinction among accessibility companies in the Midwest! We handle all necessary permits required by your city or township, ensuring your project is completed to code. Always ask your contractor if they can pull permits for your project—if they refuse, it’s a red flag indicating they may not have the proper licensing! Access also collaborates with architects experienced in accessibility to provide stamped drawings for VA approval.
